Doom For Mac Download
This version, pays homage to that 1993 classic; and does it well. This game is great. I can't say enough that this game is fun. Every game mode has something new.
The campaign is solid with excellent level design. The multiplayer is fast.
The weapons are balanced, and the maps are each unique. The lesser known SnapMap is an in-depth custom game editor where players can create there own levels, and game modes. It seems intimidating at first, but learning how everything works opens up tons of creative opportunities. If you don't feel like making something, you can easily look through what other players have made. All around this game shows that you don't need the 'improvements' of modern games. It feels old, but in a good way.
It's not the perfect game, but It's the best version of DOOM. Submitted on 7/25/2017 Review title of Game Over MattA REAL GAME FOR REAL GAMERS! An epic single player campaign with non-stop, satisfying combat (On Ultra-violence mode). Levels are HUGE, well designed and filled with secrets. Beautiful graphics and you can show everyone with the photo mode. Multiplayer is done well except for the load out system, without that each match would really be based on pure skill alone.
After completing the campaign to 100%, Snapmap mode has thousands of extra challenging levels and unique mini games to play. It was worth the $60 on day 1, the $70 (i think) pre-order edition, the ≈$40 I paid after, and when it's $15 and even free it's worth whatever you pay.
